Kenya’s leadership has spearheaded international lobbying with the aim of making the country a hub to various international conferences. Consequently, Kenya has had the opportunity to host an impressive number of high-level meetings and international conferences in the last few months increasing its standing in the international community. It is worth noting that hosting these conferences has positively influenced our country’s economy, especially through tourism and investments. As our country continues to aim for higher global ranking, it is essential that the entire country’s leadership portrays an exemplary level of professionalism. The County governments play a vital role in ensuring the growth of the country’s economy whether through foreign or local investments. In order to ensure that we maximize the opportunities presented to us, our leadership in the county level needs to be professionally equipped to seize these opportunities. Therefore, we invite high ranking officials of all 47 counties to attend and participate in a 3-day training on Diplomacy and Leadership from the 13th-15th of November 2019 at the Leisure Lodge Hotel and Golf resort in Mombasa.

This training will guarantee the participants the acquisition of crucial skills necessary for their negotiation and interaction in both formal and informal environments. Some of the skills to be acquired include but are not limited to; communication, protocol, branding and diplomacy in negotiation. These skills will help them gain a competitive advantage, polish their personal brand, and give them confidence in business and social situations. Professionalism is the keystone of the social contract between the leadership and the public at large thus, the people of the county governments will benefit immensely
